No, kidding.
I'm actually not a fan of the NFL; actually, I settle for Collage Football. Mostly because the NCAA is the only thing my Dad ever has on TV. That and Golf. >_>;
USC...;_;

Woah, so that's what spam is...(remember: I don't have Internet at home)

I apologize, I was not aware of this unfortunate condition.
And besides, it isn't actually spam. I'd advise lengthening your topic sentences beyond just one statement, though. For example, ask a question, such as, "Who are you rooting for in regards to this year's Superbowl?" It helps to get more people posting when they have a topic for their posts right in front of them.
Thanks for reading.

I'm siding with you, Akira: I've never liked football. Now don't go calling me unAmerican, I still root for the Bears once in a while. It's just... I don't like the sport it's self. Now... with the Bears going to the superbowl... there goes a reason to celebrate.

Actually I don't watch football. It's just that everyone's talking about it.
That and I like watching the commercials.
I also like to watch people kill each other.

Very well, but only if you promise to spell "grammar" correctly next time.
It's not spam if I contribute to the topic! So... Go Bears! Isn't this the first time in a long while that's happened?

Kasu: O-o; Woah. Seriously, I found nothing wrong with his post. Akira makes more spelling and grammar errors than he does, and I use plenty of faces. It was on topic, anyways. So, don't worry about it.
By the way; Akira, DON'T STEREOTYPE US GUYS! DX I despise violence. Besides, it's not like they're wearing normal clothing in these games. It's an intense sport, one that is filled with many more exciting situations than found in, say, soccer. Not to mention, it's the perfect example of a team sport; every man on the team has to do his job in order to ensure success.

I just think that (from a girl's point of view) football is so, well... I mean there's a bunch of guys running about trying to get a ball to one side and tackling each other because theyre in the other player's way... Sorta.
Even though they're wearing protective clothing, it still looks like it hurts when they tackle each other. So again, from a girl's point of view, football = violence.

*Laughs* See SoM? Most of the time people watch football for the violence.

I'm unconvinced, unless "most of the time" is held by people ages 12-22. >_>

SoM, don't be such a pacifist. Violence exists. Love it. Embrace it. I don't like seeing hippies around my pad. No offense to hippies.

Ender...
You're beginning to remind me of someone from my school. Someone I don't like very much...>____>
But anyways! This is becoming more of a violence thread than a football thread. Back on topic.

xD spam central.
Bears are the underdogs, they have not been there since 1985, and football is liked because people enjoy it because it is cool. I answered all your questions.

Really RKE...then why is football cool if its not the fact that its the greatest ritual of celebrating violence since the invention of war?

No, wrestling and boxing are the greatest rituals of violence. You don't see dislocated jaws and blood spilling everywhere in football!

Ouch. Good point, man. Also, Hockey. Have you ever seen a true game of hockey? People slamming other people's faces with long, hard wooden sticks? People getting smashed into near unbreakable glass? Now THAT'S violence.
