"When you say 'tai', what exactly do you mean? You want to spar against me?" Judging from the blank look in Nanashi's eyes, that was a yes. "Ok... but I'm not gonna hold back!" Kenta starts spinning his bo furiously, creating a large gust of wind aimed to push Nanashi back (Kinda like an oversized, superpowerful fan). Ok... that worked. Now what? Attack directly? No, she's an ally. Attack vital areas, no, see above answer. Hide and attack from the cover? Very yes. Following his plan of action, while Nanashi was stunned, Kenta hopped madly through the surrounding trees, hoping that she won't be able to find him. That'd give him enough time to figure out a way to attack without killing.
((Ok then... I guess you want action.))

((Cool!... Player VS. Player sparring for fun! XD))
Everyone ~ En Route...
Kenta leaps into some trees, hiding. He peeps through a small gap between a few small bushes with a grin platered to his face. He's unaware the end of his Bo staff is sticking out of the bush, just a little bit.
Nanashi, who had put up her arms to shield herself from the wind and airborne dust, now looked around as the scenery cleared. "Tricky aren't we!?" she calls out laughing, "Come out come out wherever you are!" And for a moment, silence. Her ninja-trained hearing picks up the slightest breathing from Kenta and smiling, Nanashi dashes through the trees to find him. Something sticks out of the bush in front of her...
With Nanashi and Kenta playing 'hide-and-seek-spar' in the forest, Adene is left to his thoughts. And his fishing rod.

Adene blinked twice. To him, the comment by the female surely had seen an odd one (you don't just hear the phrase, "Hey, how well can you hold up in a fight?" everyday, after all), but he hadn't been expecting a sparring match to break out. Especially so suddenly. His hair was flapped back and forth by a strong gust of wind, and he dug his feet into the ground to keep himself from being flung off his balance.
"Er..."
Before he could finish his sentence, the two had gone.
"...But...Wha...The flint...fire...Nanashi...Guh..." He sighed.
I'll just go gather some wood and get a stone to light it up, I suppose...Mebbe catch a fish or two if I can find a lake...
What were those other things she said? I didn't really catch those.
Eh. No matter.
He pats the sides of his shorts twice to get rid of some of the dirt, and walks off to find either "a lake" or "some wood".

[[damn straight. and stunned my arse. D: besides which you forgot about adene. and i'ma end this now so we don't leave SoM alone too long. >3> okay, Akira? tell me if I need to change it.]]
"I said spar, bakana, not full scale attack!" Nanashi sullenly glared down at the boy she was sitting on. "When one says spar, you usually think hand to hand combat! Tai, as in, taijutsu, as in karate, or kung fu, or whatever it is you do!" She twirled her sakabato-wakazashi and sheathed it. "Not this spiritual-elemental-fancy stuff." Hopping up, she dusted off her yukata. "You could have waited until I'd said go, at least."
"Anyways, we'd best go find Adene. Who knows what he'll get into." She started off into the surrounding forest, then said, "You know, you reall should fix your guard on your left side."

After hopping out of the tree, Kenta sighed. "Well... you could have told me to wait... and maybe have elaborated on what you mean by 'tai'." Kenta was obviously confused. First she wanted to spar... then she wanted to stop? What was the deal? Awkward silence ensues... until Kenta realises: "Hey, where's Adene?"

Kenta, Nanashi ~ En Route
"Adene! Adene!!!" The two of your call out, despite the deafening quiet that answers you. "Where could he have gone??" A sudden idea hits you. What if you split up to find him? He IS from a different planet of some sort, so he couldn't have gone TOO far...
Adene ~ A Lake
Having wandered off, you stop at a small lake surrounded my a serene landscape of tall trees. The water ripples with fish, and you can't wait to try out this fishing rod. You take it in your hands and are just about to cast it into the shimmering waters when a voice disturbs you.
"Pathetic human. Out of my way."
You stagger backwards at the sound of the voice, shocked at the vemon with which the speaker said the words. You see long white hair, soft fur, impeccable clothing, a perfect complexion and cold, bitter, golden eyes. His long fingers ended with poisonous nails, and from his lips spoke words akin to swift murder. One arm was missing, and from the stump, fresh blood still spew.
"Who... who are you?" you stumble defiantly. A faint pattering behind the menacing man catches your attention.
"How dare you speak to the great Lord Sesshoumaru in such an insolent manner!" A little green alien carrying a knarly staff waddles from behind this 'Lord Sesshoumaru' character. You jump a little at his shockingly enormous bulging eyes.
"Mere human! Do you know not of Lord Sesshoumaru's great demonic powers?! Or his-..." What else was so great about Lord Sesshoumaru, you never find out.
"Jaken." He says, and the little guy stops immediately. He turns to you again, "Step aside. I have no use of you."

Adene frowned as he glanced backwards. All he saw was lake.
...Eh? I, don't really think I am in his way.
He sighed, turned around and walked towards the lake. "Sure."
Reaching the lake, he casts the fishing rod's lure far out into the water, sits down cross-legged and waits, facing towards the water with his fishing rod gripped tight in both hands. His eyes were closed and his body was making no movement, but he was wide awake.
...Great demonic powers? So, wait. This guy is the same as that giant thing we fought yesterday?
...Maybe that giant was the black sheep of the family. Adene supressed a light chuckle. Still...It's a bit odd. I can't see how green midget thing would prove any use to this guy at all. ...Hmm. Perhaps he does have a soft side?
I really could use some music right now. No Wolf Parade. No Sunset Rubdown. No anything. I usually listen to those all the time when I'm fishing.
...This really blows.
Unrelated to his current thoughts, Adene threw out a comment.
"Nice right arm, by the way."

Adene ~ A lake
The demon Lord Sesshoumaru doesn't answer to this, but he gives you a look that makes you regret commenting on his arm. The little alien steps forward again.
"Lord Sesshoumaru's state is none of your business you worthless human! Show him some respect!!!" He branishes his wooden staff in several circles, frantically jumping up and down. And he falls flat on his face.
"Euhh..." you say, ignoring the alien's rant and turning your attention to the white demon, who was watching Jaken with a slightly annoyed look. He doesn't say anything again, seemingly ignoring the two of you. He turns back to the lake, the water licking the tips of his black shoes and the wind tossing his fine white hair back. A sudden jerk on your fishing rod catches your attention. "Whoot!" you say aloud, "I got something!" You try reeling it in, but your catch is strong and the fishing line threatens to break. "C'Mon!" you grunt through gritted teeth. A thin shining light shoots from the rod to the water, seemingly re-inforcing the fishing line. With a yank, you pull the fish from the water. But is it a fish?...
An oversized carp demon leaps out of the water, spraying droplets of rainbow through the air. Lord Sesshoumaru is the only one not drizzled wet. Your hook is caught in the fish demon's mouth, and he groans in pain as you unvoluntarily give it another pull in your surprise. His large arms, resembling muscular fins, grab your fishing line. "HEY!" you yell in a squeak, "Leggo!" The demon laughs.
"A human!" his flashy scales bulge as he laughs. "I have no use of you..." Great... the second time... Your sarcasm is cut off by a large shadow. The carp demon is in front of you now, saying how you disturbed his sleep, how you look pretty appetising... But you don't hear him. Your ears pound with blood, the demon licks his fishy lips, preparing to attack...
A flash of white later, you realise, the demon Sesshoumaru had taken a slash at the carp demon, cutting off the fin-like arm in a deadly and swift manner. The fish demon gargles, foaming at the mouth and slowly falls backwards into the water, his severed arm rises through the air and lands on the ground, still twitching slightly. Lord Sesshoumaru picks up the arm and walks off without a word. Jaken, who remains to throw another insult at your being a mere human, flinches at the sight of the carp demon's blood rapidly spreading through the water. "You better be grateful, pitiful human, that Lord Sesshoumaru didn't slay you today!! He didn't save your life either, so don't you start getting any ideas!!" His voice was rather annoying... You contemplate kicking him...
"Jaken." Lord Sesshoumaru's voice says lazily, althought you don't quite see him, "Let's go."
"Yes, yes milord..." And the midget demon runs after Lord Sesshoumaru in a series of pattering footsteps.
You're left with the dead fish demon's corpse for company.

Nanashi bursts onto the scene, just as Sesshoumaru leaves.
"..."
She slowly advances towards Adene, drawing a kunai. Going behind him, she cautiously pokes the dead demon a couple times. Turning around, she goes up to the boy, who is still clutching his fishing pole.
"..."
Suddenly, she whacks him very hard on the back, thankfully with the hand not carrying a kunai. "Wow, that's amazing! Your first demon, right? And you even ripped off its arm, nice! That spiritual power of yours must be pretty nifty... I wish I could channel my power like you do..."
Suddenly, the demon behind them explodes in a cloud of smoke. When it clears, a large carp is lying on the beach.
[[should we eat it? :3 nanashi's a ninjer through and through...]]

Everyone ~ A Lake
Kenta appears through some bushes a few seconds later, and the three of you look at the fish hungrily. Grilled carp with some of that village bread sounds pretty good... You are unaware of the saimyosho that linger in the shadows behind you.
As Nanashi begins cutting up the fish, Kenta is sent to look for some firewood in the trees. Adene unpacks a small amount of bread from the pack and is about to divide it when he hears a yell.
"Naraku! You-..." Kenta is seen leaping backwards out of the bushes as Naraku makes a dramatic appearance. Time seems to stop.
"Surprised, Matsuyo Nanashi? And are you afraid of me, Kenta Urosari?" Naraku remembers the delight in slaying the members of your family and village, and chuckles softly to himself with a kind of sadistic glee. "And what's this?" He looks in disdain at Adene. "Poor, poor humans. I'll spare your measly lives today, seeing as I have more important matters..." He turns his head to leave you.
**Inuyasha**
Kikyo is revived in a clay replica body.
Inuyasha and Kagome's shikon jewel shards are stolen by a lecherous monk, and they pursue him with vigor. Checking the nearby village, they find Kagome's stolen bike, taken by the monk in his escape with Kagome's jewel shards. Inuyasha and the monk soon start up a fight, but Kagome stops the monk from using his "Wind Tunnel" by plaving herself in its path. Because the monk did no want to kill any humans in the process of killing Inuyasha, he stopped. They later learn his name is Miroku, a perverted monk with spiritual powers and a deadly hole in his hand, courtesy of Naraku. Miroku joins Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippo, a young fox demon orphan rescued by Inuyasha and Kagome earlier, in their quest to find and kill Naraku.
**Sesshoumaru**
He tries out the carp demon's arm atop a cliff, flexing its powerful muscles and strong grip. Unsatisfied, Sesshoumaru cuts it off, and discards it. He watches suspiciously as a saimyosho Hell Wasp buzzes past, but doesn't do anything about it.

“Hey! Come back and fight!” Kenta swings his Bo staff is giant cirles above his head, summoning an enormous amount of wind and generating a crackle of power in the air.
The fire and wind combination still doesn’t work… But… What if…
Kenta leaps forward at Naraku, still spinning his staff, and slices down at Naraku’s arm. If time and opportunity permitted, he would dart in front of Naraku and stab forward with a flaming staff. Hopefully, he would be able to pierce Naraku through the heart and finally avenge his village’s death. If time and opportunity did not permit, Kenta would flip backwards to avoid any attacks on Naraku’s part and assume a defensive stance.

Kenta ~ A Lake Attack on Naraku (3)- Failed.
You attempt a direct attack on Naraku, but in your haste, your energy is not quite focused and Naraku deflects it into the trees, where immense damage is inflicted in the trees. You flip backwards like planned, effectively dodging Naraku's fleshy arm which had spun out to meet you. You assume a defensive stance, standing with your body angled to Naraku.
"Human," Naraku scoffs. Fleshy arms resembling roots shoot out from underneath his baboon-like cover, and reach forward towards you, although you notice some snaking towards Nanashi and Adene as well.
Nanashi and Adene ~ A Lake
Nanashi- You watch Naraku and Kenta, your anger rising. The two of them exchange words, then Naraku rises into the air a couple of feet, and root-like arms shoot out from underneath his furry costume. Several run along the ground, reaching for your ankles while others aim straight for your upper body.
Adene- You were preparing lunch when Naraku appears. In amidst the fray, you notice your fishing rod innocently stacked by a stump by the lakeshore. If you could grab that demon...

The boy blinked as chaos ensued around him, and frowned.
This was the third time in 24 hours.
The third time he was surprised by the appearance of an attacking demon.
The third time in which he was powerless to do anything.
The...He couldn't count how many times he had deviated from his usual schedule.
And the third time he would sit back and do nothing.
Something wasn't right here.
His eyes followed the grotesque pair of arms as they came closer. Over to his side, he noticed Nanashi, in a situation much similar to himself.
"What..."
In front of him, Naraku stood between him and Kenta. It became quite clear that no one was coming to help him this time.
"The..."
The arms came closer at an alarming pace.
"HELL!!!"
Adene's arm darted to his pocket, and in one fluid movement, he drew his prized dagger, spinning it around twice before stopping it. It pointed straight at the two hands. He stood up and staggered backwards as he waited for the arms to come at him; his eyes did not turn. His gaze was perfectly focused.
It was the miracle of adrenaline that empowered him so; an automated response to danger that made everything around him seem to play at half speed. With a dagger in his hand and a couple years worth of experience, Adene had changed in a finger snaps worth of time from an ordinary human into a threat.
Or, at least, by human standards, for what it counts.
He anticipates the movement of the hands; surveying them, watching them, just as the sly fox would its prey. He spins the dagger again, and when the moment seems right, he will make a brief stabbing motion at the hands, one quick enough so that he could quickly take one step back and be defensive again, until the arm presents an opportunity; a moment of vulnerability in which he may plunge the dagger into its bizarre shape.
If, however, the dagger proves useless, Adene will retreat to his fishing rod, hoping to get a brief moment in which he may formulate an actual plan.

Adene ~ A Lake Dagger (4) - Successful!
The oncoming root-like arm hurtles at you, but you're ready. The dagger's pointed end pierces through Naraku's arm and voilet blood pours over your hands. You leap backward like planned, and avoid any attacks on Naraku's part.
But Naraku has different plans. All his root-like arms retreat under his baboon cover, and he rises above everyone's head before you can do anything about it. He curses at you before leaving in a cloud of Saimyosho.
"What was that about?" Nanashi asks, a little disappointed that she didn't get to fight Naraku herself. All your food is scattered around the camp area, and the river lazily licks your packs. "Great."
A couple of yells come from the forest, however, and your moment is disturbed. "Wha's goin' on?? I'll betcha it's that damned fish again..." A small assembly of villagers come into the clearing, holding rakes and scythes. The man in front breaks into an ongoing stream of thanks. "You've kill'd it! Hourrah!" The villagers all raise their farmhouse weapons in a cheer. "You simply MUST come 'n stay at our village!" The man continues, seeing your scattered campsite. He nods at Nanashi, seeing her ninja outfit, acknowledges Kenta with a curt bow, seeing his bladed weapon and smiles at Adene with his fishing rod next to him.
"I'm sure you'd all like to train yerselves up a 'lil."

Everyone ~ Village A (northeast of the Well)
The man leads the three of you through the village and allows you to put your belongings in a room at his home. His wife welcomes you with a bow, and offers to fetch some tea before being interrupted. "We have some work to do, dear, we'll return at sunset." She bows you out the door courteously. You follow the man to a gated courtyard. He pushes the door, and all three of you gasp at the sight. There is a flat grass arena, a mini bamboo forest in one corner, and slender tree stump poles at various heights in another. In the centre of it all, an enormous tree.
"Let the training begin!" the man calls out grandly with a sweep of his arms. "Allow me to formally introduce myself. My name is Master Yoshin. I can provide you with some adequate training in order to repay you for what you have done for the village. Let us start with the most basic of training." He leads you to the tree stumps (which were no thicker than a lampost to give you an idea). "Balance is critical." He dictates. With his toes, he steps gently on the lowest pole, and moves easily from pole to pole all the way to the highest pole where he assumes a balanced position on one foot. He is totally relaxed despite being 15 feet in the air on one foot, squatting and cross legged with both hands gently placed on his knees. The feat amazes you, and you are eager to try it.
"Calm your minds." Yoshin instructs. "Balance is key." So, which one wants to go first?
**Inuyasha**
(I've decided this won't follow the original exactly, but will contain most important events.) The gang is introduced to Sango the demon slayer, and learn of her misfortunes with Naraku. They finish this ordeal and together set off to seek their revenge. The monk and the demonslayer get along well. Currently, Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippou, Miroku and Sango are about 2 days away from the village where you are staying to train.
