...So what are you gonna do about it?
As warm weather greets us and sunny skies alive with the birds and the bees (and I mean that literally), us computer-slugs of North America find it in ourselves to get up off of our lazy arses and do something.
This forbidden ritual requires us to turn off our computer monitors, get off our downed chairs and burn off those calories that have been amalgamating within our digestive tracks.
My question for the CHATPlay community today is... what form of physical and/or outdoor activity do you do in the summer? ('Cause I know you're not on the computer...RIGHT!?)

Eh? HA. That stereotype doesn't work on me, I'm on the SWIM TEAM. >D So, it's year round... The rest of the time I'm on my arse. >3>
BUT in the summertime, I usually do whatever it calls for! In the morning I play tennis. >3> It's mandatory, my mom forces me to.
And... Running. And BIKING TRIPS YAY.
Lots of hiking, too.
I think that's all. >3>

Good stuff, Natsuki.
Lately, I've been biking A LOT. It's almost like my new hobby. I've got a friend in a nearby neighborhood that shares the same interest in biking as I, and we've been hitting various trails and off-road trails.
We do this every weekend and sometimes after school. I feel so fit now.

I'm running whenever I can, since I don't own a bike and don't have a pool. Also I'm playing badminton in the backyard and rollerblading around the neighborhood. Sure, I have athsma and I risk overexerting myself and dying everytime I go our to run... But it's worth it to stay fit, I suppose. Walking is too boring.

Nice way to sneak in the athsma there, Akira.
I'm probably going to be learning how to Golf, and I might join a Tennis Club, too. That's always been a fun sport. It helps that I'm horribly out of shape and need as much exercise as I can get this summer.
Oh, and I'll be swimming everyday in my backyard pool. :3

Ooh. Summer.
Summer means summer school... so yeah. I'll be cooped up inside the local high school. Otherwise... Aikido, maybe a bit of basketball, biking, and staying on the computer.
And DDR.

Wow. Summer School? That's unfortunate.
I'm glad that you're finding time to... DDR and Computerize in your summer schedual. But at least you've got some biking and basketball, eh?
Like I said before, Biking's my thing right now... and I've been doing it avidly over the past few days. I've also getting my Street Hockey spirit back into gear, so I've been doing that with a friend a lot too.
Damn, I love the summer.

YOU? (SoM)... GOLFING??? *rolls over laughing*
Yeah, my mom wants me to golf too... It's good for concentration and stress reliever and excercise and fresh air and stuff, she says. I don't know where I'd go to golf though, let alone get all the gear AND learn to properly. Oh well...
Oh yeah, and I'll be gardening all summer outside too.

XD Same! My mom usually gets us to work in the garden...
[y'know, free labor and all that.]
And we're also going to set up our Badminton/Birdie net and play that. We swim all the time. It's like... I dunno, our lifestyle. My mom came from an island, and I've been swimming competitively since second grade, so... My little brother doesn't like it so much, though.
HAH golf. My little bro also took a class on that, but I still beat him score-wise (and everyone else, 7 people) in mini golf at Putting Edge. :3
Oh yeah, damn, I'd forgotten about summer school... AGH. World History, for six weeks. Joy.

Huh. I dunno why I like swimming, but I do. I've been swimming since I was... 3? 4? It could be my name... My name means "The Welsh God of the Sea". Could have something to do with it.
Anyway, yeah. World History for 12 weeks, Natsuki. It's both summer semesters, but with a 2 week-ish break in between.

Ugh. Summer school sounds...painful. ._. Sorry to hear that.
OMG BADMINTON! You guys are really lucky. Well, you would be, anyways, if you didn't have summer school.
And swimming = ftw D:

XD I was afraid of the water until I was six.
Then this little girl who couldn't have been more than four handed me her Little Mermaid barbie doll and told me it was a good luck charm and it worked. LAWL.
Well, it's not as if we have a big house or anything, and the set's a little old, but it's fun. My mum is very active. :3

Swimming is so much fun, but I'm kinda scared of swimming bazillions of laps at the local public pool. Choking = athsma attack = Akira drowning in the deep end of the pool.

Actually, it's proven that swimming strengthens your lungs and helps to prevent asthma attacks. :3 It worked with my bro.
YAY botanic garden walks. :3

Yeah, but I guess I'll be able to cure my deadly athsma with all that running I'm doing. And it's not like SoM's running up and down the driveway kind of thing... It's running for at least 3 kilometres once or twice a week. I can't believe how FIT I am! XD ((I'll take up swimming again when it gets super hot, I guess...))
Botanic garden walks? Ever gone to 'Jardins Botaniques' in Québec? You'd like it.

You prefer cold? I prefer hot, even though I hate the feeling of my t-shirt sticking to my back and beads of sweat dripping off my face... But I like summer sports more than winter sports, so it's alright. Winter sports are fun, but physical activity in the cold air usually leads to, again, athsma attacks. I'm so weak XD

No doubt the only reason you didn't get any higher is once again because of asthma. >->
I'm with Natsuki on this one. Cold is better than warm weather. Though actually, I'd take a nice weather day over anything. Can anyone say moderately warm weather for the win? I sure as hell can.

No, the reason I can't jump any high is because I'm not short. Athsma has nothing to do with not being able to jump high. I'd like to see YOU high jump at all do a metre, SoM. *sticks out tongue* >< High jump and long jump are my track-and-field forte.
Oh, right! And another activity I'll be doing is roller-blading. But my helmet is way too small, so I'm going around without a helmet. Which is probably bad.

Probably.
Anyways. I wish I had a pair of rollerblades. I like rollerblading. ;^;
I'd like to learn to high jump. It's really cool...
UOOOO! It's really hot out here! D:!

roflsox. Track's fun. I'm generally good at the sports that don't require me to focus on teammates. I just don't trust them.
In track, my forte's are the 400m, 800m, and the 1,500m. I'm horrible at those sad excuses for events you call "Long Jump" and "High Jump". Frankly, I don't think anyone cares how high or how long one can jump. But, whatever floats your boat.
I'm going camping this weekend. w00t.
